Here's another one of my fantasy watercolor girls.

Still working on loosening up my painting style. It's actually more of a mixed media piece since I also used black ink and white gesso.

Regardless, I enjoyed painting it an like the outcome.

Here is another painting I finally finished yesterday. Not entirely happy with it. Not my best. Not my worst.

I was in the mood to using a few different watercolor techniques in this one:

- a wash gradient from yellow to red to blue and green with
- drips on the top and bottom edges
- salt crystals in green for (grassy) texture
- lifting off color in the (sunset) sky
- painting the tree and using a straw to blow paint away from it to form the branches
- adding more details with ink on the tree

Then it was enough, and I called it done. I'll add a couple of images to show you the details
